that is the question!
So in between making Pippi-things and thinking about tea alot :-) I took a couple photos today. And as my husband was there, too, and it was afternoon and not raining and everything, I took the opportunity to bribe him into taking some photos of my knitted handwarmer for me.

I bribed him with cookies ... you'll see them soon. ;-)
I actually had tried before to take photos of a handwarmer on my hand myself. You would not believe how hard it is to take a decent photo of your own hand!? Shoking!
Anyway.
So I wanted to show you guys this handwarmer I made last winter.
And why am I showing you this?
Well, you see I ended the handwarmer with a picot-edge which turned out really ruffly. And I can not decide whether I like it or not!!! I don't know ... I think the rest of the handwarmer looks rather "sporty" - which the ruffles do not. On the other hand I usually quite like unexpected details.
After I had made the handwarmer and I just needed to bind off I just felt that there was something missing. It looked boring somehow. That's why I decided to try another bind off than usually. But am really not sure. Yes, I am thinking about this since I finished it and can not decide.
And why am I thinking about this?
Easy. I did not make the second one yet!
And I really should. I would like to get it done before the cool weather starts. And lately, when it was cooler and rainy I really felt like knitting.
But I really do not want to start the second one before I can make up my mind whether I like the first one.
What do you guys think?
Should I make the second one just like the first one? Or should I undo the bind off and do something else with it? And if I should do something else - what?
I am really not that good at knitting. I can knit and purl and that's about it. But I am willing to learn! :)

When I saw your picture I feel so hot!!! you know, here, are still around 40Âșc, everiday, so these are...unecessary!
But I can see what you mean about the ruffles. Why don't you finish it with crochet?
@ Papagena Made it
It's funny that you say that cause that actually was my first idea. I was thinking about those picot edges you can crochet. For some reason - I do not really remember why - I did not want to crochet however. That is why I googled picot edge and knitting ... and tried that ...
It was actually my own fault that it turned out ruffly. I should have tried it out before I actually used it ... depending on how you do the picot edge it can be ruffly or not. I just was too impatient to try it out ...
Do you think that an added crochet border would look good? I am not sure whether it would work with the knit-purl-stripes from the rest ...?
