Well, I finally attempted - and actually went through - the making of a sling to carry dolls or stuffed animals around. I had this on my list already a while and used the instructions by Melissa on her blog Chasing cheerios. I turned out fine - however, MUCH too small. So I will have to give this one away and make a larger one for my daughter. But since it was done very quickly I am still pleased that I made this one.(If anyone is wondering - the animal in the sling is a tapir.)

Oh, was my own mistake. I knew O is younger than my daughter and also my daughter is rather tall for her ages - I should have figured that it won't fit. But now that I know how it works I think it shouldn't be too hard to adjust the pattern ...
These are cute, but I don't know if my daughter would use one or not.
Oh, I don't know ... I was just quite sure that my daughter would love it since she loves carrying her "babies" around. But you could just try ... it really comes together very quickly!
