PROJECT 46: Supercute Teacup Bird Feeder

Photo from Cap Creations

On Cap Creations there is a

tutorial on how to make a tea cup into a bird feeder.

I so want to have one like those for my backyard!!!

Or several ... ;-)

I wonder how these would hold up in winter ... Does anyone know?

  1. Cute...although they don't hold up very well in winter. I know from experience. The snow gets into the cup part and melts a bit then freezes and breaks the cup.
    But they are very pretty!

Thanks for letting me know. Guess if I get to make some - I really want to - I would have to take them inside for winter.

  3. They are super cute! I guess the ice would be a problem in winter, I could imagine the seed getting soggy if it rains too.. so pretty though!
