Tiny crochet fun :-)
Some tiny things I crocheted during the last couple days. The pattern for the cherries itself I got here. For the leaves I used this pattern. I think they are so cute! I want to make more and use them to embellish summer dresses or shirts for my daughter.
I also wanted to try this pattern for so long. I like cute tiny hearts. :-) Don't know yet what I am going to do with it. I was thinking of putting it to a hair tie. But my daughter isn't really using any at the moment ... so I am not too sure yet.
And I made this cute lion. Since I did not have a pattern I made up my own! And I think it turned out totally cute. I also plan to put it onto a shirt or something for my daughter ...

These came out so cute, I don't know how big they are but I've seen some hair clippies on Etsy with cute little crocheted decorations on them and been trying to convince my mom she wants to make some for me ever since.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! I love the lion! Well done on making it up on your own.

ReplyDeleteWell, the heart and the cherries would be a good size for hair clips. (The heart is actually - in the original post - made for a hair clip.)
The lion would be too big. I just couldn't really make my mind up yet ...
@ Karin:
ReplyDeleteThanks! I was acutally surprised that it turned out quite nicely. I usually rather stick to patterns - I don't like the "trying-out" ... trying, undoing, trying again ... But this wasn't too bad. I am thinking maybe I could make a whole ark of animals ... but I am getting a bit carried away here ... :-)
Those are adorable! You did a fabulous job. Very cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThe lion is my favorite, I think! The ark of animals is a great idea - might take a while but it would be so wonderful and unique! So cute. Wish I could crochet.
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute !! I have been trying to learn to crochet. A friend is teaching me but I'm afraid I'm just not very good at it ! ha ha. I'm better at knitting ...
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll try these patterns ... one day ! I love the cherries ... very cute !!
Thanks for comment on my 'breaking up the routine' post ! Good to find a kindred spirit !!
Very cute! I'm impressed with the lion!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with that lion head. He is so wonderful.
