Another really easy game to play with small kids. It's not even a game really ... so I didn't want to post it first. But then ... well, I would have never thought of doing this if I would have not read it somewhere. Unfortunately I don't remember where I read it ...
All you need is a dice and something were you have several of ... like little stones, marbles, nuts, ... It can really be anything. I use a few peanuts that were lying around for too long so we don't really want to eat them anymore. Therefore I call it the game "squirrel game". And all you do know is roll the dice after each other - the highest wins. (You could of course also play the lowest wins.) Who wins gets a nut. You play for as long as you want. In my case - as long as my daughter wants.
And then you can count what you got. Really easy - and you can practice numbers and an understanding of quantities.

I'm glad you're excited, and you deserve it! It's always fun to see what you're up too. As far as the award goes, yes save it as a picture and then add it as a picture on the right like the one from Tricia. And part of the fun is awarding it to other bloggers, but I don't think the rules are strict. You can give it to more or fewer than five. The questions are just meant to be fun and to make it more personal. I am sure it's fine to award it to someone who blogs in German!
